La Sarda Home is a celebration of the Island of Sardinia, the culture, traditions, artists and artisans. Our carefully hand-picked products are carefully curated by our founder Giuliana Manca and brought to our shores in the most sustainable and ethical way.
How and when did you start your brand?
Our brand originated in 2020 with a profound passion for giving a voice to the Island of Sardinia and its talented artists. The rich history and culture of the Island translate into each product which has been carefully handmade with love and passion for a continuation of the island's rich history and traditions.
Why do you do what you do?
As a custodian of the works of our esteemed artists and a representative of the Island's rich cultural heritage, I feel both honored and accountable to showcase their products in a considerate and dignified manner. I share in the same sense of pride as our creators and aspire to impart that feeling to each and every one of our valued customers.

What are your tips for customers who are interested in your products?
We strongly encourage you to reach out to us for a personalized experience. Each item can be customised and tailored and we love to know our customers and take them on our Sardinian journey through the story of the products, information on the crafters and artists that made the products.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not busy with your brand?
I enjoy travelling back to Sardinia, back to my ancestral town of Cabras. Finding and discovering new artists and basically hanging out in historical sites and soaking up the energy, it calms my mind and soul.
Who is the target audience for your products?
Our clients are people that want to make a thoughtful purchase, that want a forever item and a product steeped in culture that can tell a story. Our clients have travelled and are looking to escape the quick consumerism' which seems to have enveloped us all.

What are your sources of inspiration?
Our inspiration is to instil greater significance into the products people bring into their homes. Our products are timeless and each item tells a different story and deserves a forever home.
Do you have a signature or star product? Tell us about it!
All of our products bear the signature of our brand and ethos, "Simply Sardinian". For instance, our rugs, which are crafted in San Mugheo, Sardinia, are still hand-woven on the same looms as they were a hundred years ago. The 92-year-old lady, who now works alongside her daughter and niece, still has complete creative control. Her story is a testament to her enduring passion for art and education, and serves as a great inspiration. All our handwoven rugs are made from Sardinian wool, hand-dyed using traditional methods, and each one is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation.
